Show Notes

Todd Smith shares his incredible story of unimaginable tragedy to steadfast surrender. Through his lens of vulnerability, transparency and authenticity, Todd shares the painful moments when he, and his precious wife, Angie, grieved the overwhelming pain of losing their baby girl, Audrey, 13 years ago. Whether you are among the 40% of the parents who have experienced a similar loss or if you have ever experienced any type of personal trial at all, you will be inspired and uplifted by his brokenness and openness and be reminded that you’re not alone in your struggle. Todd doesn’t hold back his emotions about his journey of holding onto faith to find peace and hope in the midst of heart-wrenching heartbreak and devastating circumstances.  Also on this episode, Jackie and Eve also explore how each of the 9 Enneagram personalities, through growth and self-awareness, can display healthy characteristics even during stress.  While each Enneagram number has an arrow leading you toward where you go in stress, you can act out the healthy characteristics of your Enneagram “stress” number.
Todd Smith singer, songwriter extraordinaire and member of the popular Christian group,
Selah  with more than half a billion streams, over 4 million albums sold, and 8 GMA Dove Awards to their credit. They just launched their record label, 3Cre8tive.  Their album, Step Into My Story, came out in November and debuted #1 on iTunes. Todd wrote Selah’s most recent song, “Hello Grace” about 3 years ago when an extended family member was addicted to pain medication. Todd explains, “I believe God can part the waters and move mountains, but I also believed He would never be able to change this behavior.  Last year my wife Angie and I saw a miracle happen in this person.  As I was writing the song with Michael Farren (“Trust In You” - Lauren Daigle) and Travis Ryan (“We Believe” - Newsboys) the miracle hadn’t happened yet.  I remembered thinking that grace was for this person who was not changing.  I was mostly convicted that grace covered me.  I was not different from the person I hurt.  I needed grace just as much.  Hello Grace is a reminder that His Grace is sufficient, and it is always available.”  This groundbreaking trio is also the first Christian band to have a crypto coin (Also known as social token). Their “Selah” coin is called “3CR8” in and you can learn all about it and how you can invest at rally.io.   Also, check out the incredible Kingdom work being done by his amazing and beautiful wife, Angie Smith, Bible teacher and best selling author.  See her latest Bible Study called Matchless here
